My passion for art was sparked at eight years old, thanks to a simple gift from my grandfather: a sketchbook, a handful of markers, and some timeless advice. As I filled the page with scribbles, he transformed my chaos into a crowned boy with birds flying behind him and told me, “You can never mess up art until you decide it’s messed up.” That idea planted a creative spark that’s guided me ever since.

While I’ve explored many forms of art, tattooing quickly became my true passion. For the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated myself fully to the craft, spending most of my career here at Late Nite Tattoo under the mentorship of the great J-Lenno. Along the way, I also owned and operated Chunky Monkey Tattoos and 4-20 Tattoos, continually building on my experience and developing my style.

When you sit in my chair, you’ll experience the energy of a true old-school street shop — where quality tattoos are created through collaboration, not months-long waiting lists or cookie-cutter designs. Every piece I create is custom, carefully designed to stand the test of time.

My style is bold, bright, and versatile — though I steer clear of portraits. One of my greatest joys comes from helping clients transform old or poorly executed tattoos into something they can wear with pride. Restoring confidence through my work is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

I may come across as a bit gruff at first, but once past my tough exterior, you’ll find someone deeply passionate about the craft, committed to my clients, and always ready to share a laugh along the way.
